All Hands On Deck: Sonics Arena Public Hearing 7/19!
Hey Seattle, we need to get everybody out to this public hearing about the potential Sonics Arena. You can say your piece to the people who decide whether or not we get the Supersonics back. The City Council and King County Council don’t seem to understand how badly Seattleites want it despite the 1000′s of letters they’ve gotten from supporters.
This is do or die time!!
If we can’t get an arena approved, which is only going to cost you $2.50 a year if you own a property, or $0.00 if not, then we will very likely NEVER get our Sonics back. We need 1000′s and 1000′s of people to show up and let our voices be heard.

The Seattle City Council and King County Council announced today that they will co-host a joint public hearing on July 19 regarding the proposal for a new multi-purpose arena in SODO.
Members of the public are invited to attend and give in-person testimony to City and County council members. Both Councils accept written public comments at any time.
