Pacific Division, better known as Pac Div, is a rap trio that originated in Southern California and is signed to Universal Motown Records. It is composed of two brothers, Like and Mibbs, and a long-time friend and acquaintance, BeYoung. They started to rap together in High School. Originally Pac Div was a group of eleven boys in high school, but knowing that they could not keep it that way, in 2005 they shrunk the group down to three, Mibbs, Like, and Be Young. When Microwave Music influenced most young rappers, they were influenced by old school hip-hop, and it shows through their videos and unique style. Pac Div’s first mixtape, released in 2006, was a thematic mixtape named Sealed for Freshness: The Blend Tape. It talked about their lives as average hip youth which related to their target market. Being relatable appealed to a mass market of Hipsters, which began their success and placed them in famed magazines, such as: Billboard, Rolling Stone, and Source. It also gained approval of hip-hop hotshots: Ludacris, ?uestlove, Pharrell Williams, Talib Kweli, and 9th Wonder. Their success helped them go international, opening for big names like Nas, Q-Tip, Busta Rhymes, Ice-T, and Ludacris.

All the success and fame achieved from their first mixtape, which was released by The Brolly Group along with their first music video F.A.T Boys. The group released two more mixtapes, Church League Champions and Don’t Mention It. Church League Champions consisted of three singles: “Mayor”, “Whiplash” and “Young Black Male”. “Don’t Forget the Swishers,” on their mixtape “Don’t Mention It,” featured Cleveland-based rapper Chip tha Ripper. In 2011 they released their fourth mixtape Mania which had the featured the banger “Anti frezze” . Now they are back on tour getting ready for the release of there new project GMB which features the new single Black Acura feat. Mac Miller and Raven Sorvino .

Mikey Rocks

Sir Michael Rocks became a recognizable hip-hop name, thanks to his entrance in the game alongside Chuck Inglish as part of The Cool Kids. Of late, he’s established himself as an individual identity, stepping out as a solo artist and flipping his moniker from Mikey Rocks to his current handle. On October 23, 2011 Mikey Rocks signed with Jet Life Recordings, a Warner Bros. imprint owned by fellow rap artist Curren$y. The Chicago rapper recently released his latest mixtape Lap Of Lux. This project has 15 tracks with features and production from Hit-Boy, Casey Veggies, Chuck Inglish, Mac Miller, Cardo, Rockie Fresh, and more. The project has reached gold status on Datpiff.com with over 100,000 downloads.
Airy beats and Rocks’ natural, effortless delivery over them account for an easy and enjoyable listen throughout the release, with Wiz Khalifa’s Kush & OJ being the obvious reference point—a fact particularly clear on cuts like “Reservations,” produced by Cardo (of Kush & OJ fame). The project is lavish and extravagant, both in sounds and content, as the fashion-forward talent’s tastes trickle onto tracks with consistency. Whether its his eclectic palate swooning over “butterfly lobster, good sushi” on “Good Sushi” or the “Cris or that Clicquot” with “six cell phones” that he boasts about on the Hit-Boy-produced “You Know What,” the young rapper’s interests are reflected all over the project. Now Sir Michael is on tour delivering his high energy performances to a city near you.
