Land Of Pines is a rock quintet from the little northwestern seaport of Seattle. Featuring tightly crafted interlocking guitar parts, rich guy-girl vocal harmonies, and a rock-solid rhythm section, the band’s sonically lush songs span a spectacular spectrum: one minute catchy and playful, the next heavy and electrified, loud enough to make every last strand of hair stand on end.

In 2011, Land Of Pines began recording their first material written as a five-piece at Seattle’s Jupiter Studios with veteran rock producer Martin Feveyear (Presidents of the U.S.A., Screaming Trees, Mudhoney, Girls, Queens of the Stone Age, The Briefs). On November 20th, 2012, Fin Records will release the leadoff single “Dead Feathers” [FIN-LE7-010] as a limited edition 7″, marking the band’s debut on vinyl record; Fin will then follow up with Land of Pines’ fourth EP titled The Long Defeat. This forthcoming record is the final installment in an EP series that showcases the band’s sonic evolution from a pair of bedroom composers to a full-fledged musical entity.
