GRAVEYARD // http://graveyardmusic.com/s/
Graveyard performed at the 2008 SXSW festival, it was there the famed Rolling Stone Rock Writer David Fricke witnessed the band’s live act and wrote a piece on the band in his “Fricke’s Picks” column. Fricke wrote, “If Graveyard had man an early Seventies private-pressing LP that didn’t sell squat, they would be record collector legends.” This piece brought increased attention to Graveyard. The bands reputation as a great live band has also been building in Europe where Graveyard has received great reviews for their live performances.
From the combination of being a great live act and having the ability to write and record great songs the future is looking really bright for Graveyard. The band is standing on a solid foundation of classic rock, but Graveyard is more than just your average rock band. The band’s open mind towards adapting and bringing in different musical influences – from everything in between hardrock, rock, blues, folk and jazz – makes the band stand out in the crowd. And the good thing for a band like Graveyard is that you don’t have to put a label on being great.
