If you were take the alternative sound of Portland, put it in a genre-hot Melting Pot and sprinkle in some seasoning from a brand that is “The nearest American thing to perfection” then you’d be in the presence of a musical concoction called Floater. Notorious for their rapturous live show and dutiful fan base, Floater has dominated stages all throughout the U.S and Canada. How do they do this? With their bone-chilling breakdowns, psychedelic pop, and modern reggae arrangements.
Floater is currently on tour supporting their critically acclaimed 2010 effort Wake, which embodies the rich originality that has earned them two preliminary Grammy nominations in the past. With such a diehard following, Floater has been able to sell out large venues and still keep their patrons scurrying back for more thrill.
